AEW will be getting festive this holiday season as the promotion filed two new trademarks.
On November 18, AEW filed for the trademark rights to several terms, including Dynamite on 34th Street and Christmas Collision, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Both are filed under entertainment services. Here is the description:
“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.”
It appears the terms could be used for special episodes of the two shows or match gimmicks. It should be noted that Christmas falls on Wednesday, the typical night Dynamite airs.
It’s unclear what AEW has planned for the show.
