AEW President Tony Khan has announced a rematch between high-flying superstars Will Ospreay and Ricochet for this Saturday’s Christmas edition of AEW Collision, emanating from the historic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The match will be part of the ongoing Continental Classic tournament.
Ospreay and Ricochet previously clashed in October, resulting in a controversial no-contest after simultaneous pins and interference from Konosuke Takeshita. This led to a triple threat match at the “Worlds End” event, where Takeshita captured the AEW International Championship.
Adding to the stacked card, AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia will face off against veteran powerhouse Shelton Benjamin in a Blue League Continental Classic bout. Garcia currently leads the Blue League with 4 points, while Benjamin trails closely behind with 3.
