Two Injured AEW Stars Expected To Miss Significant Time

AEW is set to be without both Kyle Fletcher and Marq Quen for a significant stretch, with both performers confirmed to have sustained injuries that will keep them away from in-ring competition.

The news was first revealed on AEW Collision, where both absences were announced. Fightful has since confirmed that Quen’s situation is injury-related. According to an AEW source, Quen sustained a tear of some kind, and another source indicated he will miss a significant amount of time.

The timing is particularly unfortunate, given that Private Party, the team of Quen and Isiah Kassidy, had only recently returned from more than a year away before this setback occurred.

Fletcher’s situation is also concerning. The TNT Champion sustained a meniscus injury that will sideline him for a considerable period. Beyond the meniscus, sources indicate there are additional injuries that Fletcher sustained, which could extend his time out of the ring further.

Fletcher had been one of AEW’s top pushed performers in recent months, being in a central role in storylines involving the Don Callis Family and his friendship with Konosuke Takeshita heading into the Dynasty pay-per-view.

Neither AEW nor the performers involved have provided official timelines for their respective returns at this time. We wish them a speedy recovery.
