While the focus is on tonight’s premiere episode of AEW Collision on TNT, the company is also building to next week’s episode of Dynamite and the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view event later this month with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The promotion confirmed new match bookings for Dynamite, including Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn in a tag team match.
On this week’s Dynamite, the bout was set up when The Gunns issued a challenge to The Hardys for a bout. On Friday’s Rampage’s, The Hardys accepted the bout, making it official.
Also confirmed for the show is AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy & Ring of Honor Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata vs. NJPW World TV Champion Zack Sabre Jr. & Daniel Garcia.
On Rampage, TBS Champion Kris Statlander issued a challenge to Taya Valkyrie for a match, although it’s unclear when the bout will take place.
This episode of Dynamite is the go-home show for Forbidden Door and will take place from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
