AEW will hold an episode of Collision aboard Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea next month.
The show will take place while the cruise ship is docked. The cruise runs November 7 to 11 on the Norwegian Jewel, sailing from Miami to Bimini in the Bahamas.
Jericho confirmed the plan on TMZ’s podcast, saying the episode will air live on Saturday, November 7, while the ship is docked in Miami before it departs.
“We are, for the first time ever, doing a live episode of ‘Collision’ from the boat itself,” Jericho said.
He said the production will require a satellite connection, Wi-Fi, generators and thousands of feet of cable, and that wrestlers booked for the episode will be on the ship.
This is not AEW’s first show on the cruise. AEW taped part of its Bash at the Beach event aboard the 2020 edition of the cruise, and those matches aired on the January 22, 2020 episode of Dynamite.
This year’s cruise lineup includes Jeff Hardy, Saraya, The Great Muta, Shotzi Blackheart and Ted DiBiase, along with performances from Jericho’s band Fozzy.
