All Elite Wrestling has filed to move the lawsuit brought against the company by former crew member Christopher Dispensa to federal court. The move, made on July 3, cites diversity of citizenship and a claimed lien of over $215,000.
Dispensa filed the lawsuit alleging negligence, civil assault, and battery stemming from a 2023 incident where he claims he was shoved to the ground by top AEW star Jon Moxley.
According to the lawsuit, Dispensa suffered “severe neck and shoulder injuries” that required cervical fusion surgery as a result of the altercation. Dispensa, who was not a full-time employee, has not worked for AEW since late 2024 and is seeking damages in excess of $25,000.
