Update on PAC’s status with AEW

The big news on Friday was the fact that Jon Moxley had been pulled from his scheduled match against Kenny Omega at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event.

The reason for that is due to Moxley dealing with MRSA staph in his left elbow. PAC will be replacing Moxley to wrestle Omega at this show.

Dave Meltzer noted in the Daily Update on F4Wonline that with Omega vs. PAC being a planned direction months ago, it made sense to do it at this show.

Regarding PAC’s status, Meltzer wrote, “Right now there is no confirmation whether Pac will be in for any other dates besides this one, but they’ve been in talks to bring him in for some time.”

It was added that Dragon Gate has no issue with Pac working AEW and Pac is expected to return to the promotion after this show.

PAC was slated to take on Adam “Hangman” Page at Double or Nothing but due to creative differences, the match took place a week earlier and was released on AEW’s YouTube channel.
