Vickie Guerrero signs full-time AEW contract

Vickie Guerrero has officially signed her contract with All Elite Wrestling. Guerrero told Daily DDT that she recently signed her deal after being announced as Nyla Rose’s manager a few weeks ago.

Guerrero made her first AEW appearance last December as a guest commentator on AEW Dark. They apparently liked her work enough that they decided to bring her back. She was one of the many guests on Chris Jericho’s Cruise in January and she was also part of The Inner Circle’s Pep Rally on an episode of Dynamite on May 27th.

Prior to being announced as Rose’s manager, Guerrero was seen at ringside as part of the crew who would cheer on the wrestlers at ringside.

Guerrero was brought in to WWE in 2005 for the first time to work alongside Eddie Guerrero during the storyline where Eddie would claim Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik as his son.

Vickie was later brought in after Eddie’s passing as a manager and later in an authority figure role and later retired from WWE as a full-time performer in 2014. Vickie is the latest legend being utilized in the manager role. Other major names working as managers include Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
