Vince McMahon invited AEW’s Jim Ross to appear on WWE Raw reunion show next week but JR turned it down

Jim Ross was one of the legendary names that received an invitation to appear on next week’s WWE Monday Night reunion special. It wouldn’t be so odd if Ross wasn’t signed to a multi-year (and very lucrative) deal with All Elite Wrestling but AEW co-founder Tony Khan was fine with JR appearing on Raw.

According to WrestleZone’s Domini DeAngelo, Ross revealed during his Grilling JR show in Jacksonville, FL that Vince McMahon asked him about appearing at the reunion show and it was JR who turned it down.

Here is the list of names that were announced for next week’s show:

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Hulk Hogan
Ric Flair
Shawn Michaels
Razor Ramon
Diesel
Kurt Angle
Sgt. Slaughter
Christian
Ted DiBiase
Eric Bischoff
The Boogeyman
Jimmy Hart
The Hurricane
Santino Marella
Jerry “The King” Lawler
D-Von Dudley
Booker T
Sean Waltman

The Raw reunion special will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Here is commercial hyping that show:
