Wardlow teamed with Samoa Joe to take on Tony Neese and Josh Woods in a tag team match on this Friday’s special two-hour AEW Rampage: Grand Slam episode.
The promotion taped the episode after the Dynamite event on Wednesday night from New York City at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
While speaking on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Wardlow was potentially injured during the match.
“Wardlow may have…did you hear anything about Wardlow being hurt? Wardlow appeared to be hurt. I don’t know how serious. He appeared to have a leg injury, but he did come back.”
