Warner Bros. Discovery Wants AEW to Expand Their Pay-Per-View Schedule

It looks like fans who have been wanting AEW to host more pay-per-view events may get their wish.

AEW annually holds five PPV events per year – Revolution, Double or Nothing, Forbidden Door, Full Gear, and All Out. This year they added the All In event, although the broadcast details for that show are still unclear.

As previously reported, AEW and Warner Bros Discovery are in deep negotiations to extend their TV rights deal.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that one of the major proposals from their end to All Elite Wrestling is these events, with one WBD source telling Fightful that they mentioned “the very likely possibility of significantly expanding the AEW PPV schedule, even to one a month. We’re told that this is something that Warner Bros. Discovery has wanted.”

It’s unclear whether this would be a standalone or part of the MAX streaming service. A deal has yet to be reached, but the expanded schedule has been discussed.
