There is a second All Elite Wrestling series under consideration by WarnerMedia, according to a story by TheWrap.
Brett Weitz, GM of TNT, TBS and truTV confirmed that there are talks ongoing. He said, “We are talking about it. I don’t know if you’ve met Tony Khan, but he’s not short of ideas — or passion. So there is a world where we’re thinking about ‘Where does something like that live?’ Knowing full well that within the WarnerMedia ecosystem we have B/R Live, we’ve got all these different components at our disposal.”
As we first reported on Sunday, there are several replays scheduled for All Elite Wrestling after the debut show on 10/2. According to cable listings, there are replays scheduled throughout the week on TNT and sister channels TBS and truTV.
It certainly looks like the folks at WarnerMedia are 100 percent behind AEW as there are high expectations for the brand.
Commercials have been in constant rotation on TNT and the sister channels. Some readers have noted that commercials have also aired in AMC theaters. They have also bought commercial time through cable providers to have ads air during last week’s SmackDown, NXT, and this week’s Monday Night Raw.
