CM Punk’s return to pro wrestling is just a few days away and the expectation is that AEW Rampage on Friday will deliver big numbers for TNT in the Friday night timeslot.
It will be interesting to see if AEW decides to outright tell people on Wednesday that Punk is coming in or if they decide to just drop another hint since it’s assumed that much of the fanbase has figured out that he’s signed.
Over the last couple of weeks, there have been several hints dropped by AEW and Punk to make it clear that he is going to be at the United Center this Friday.

As seen below, the first hint was when it was announced that they were going to run at the United Center in Chicago. Rampage on Friday was originally going to be a taped show. After the announcement, Darby Allin dropped the “Best in the World” line during a backstage promo.
