MJF is gearing up for his return to the ring when he takes on Adam Cole at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event, which will take place on December 28, 2024, at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.
MJF last wrestled at Full Gear, where he went over Roderick Strong. Since returning from injury earlier this year, he has only worked a handful of matches. In recent months, MJF has mostly cut pre-taped promos due to him filming “Happy Gilmore 2” with Adam Sandler.
MJF took to Twitter/X to share some impressive footage of himself in the gym. He performed a crazy squat workout with 920 pounds of weights.
“920. Gee wiz I sure do hope I’ll be able to hang in there with Adam Cole at Worlds End,” MJF captioned the clip. The former AEW World Heavyweight Champion will speak on tonight’s episode of Dynamite to further promote the bout.
