The latest episode of Being The Elite was released today and featured an interesting segment.
Brandon Cutler was seen wearing a face mask during a skit with The Young Bucks, who said he has a “broken face” in addition to a broken nose. They gave him the mask to project his face and a new jacket that makes him their young boy.
They also made a joke about the incident with Mickie James, who received her belongings in a trash bag last week as she was released by the company earlier this month. James shared a photo of the bag on Twitter, which resulted in Mark Carrano being fired.
They told Cutler that since he will be out of action, he won’t need his ring gear and they gave it to him in a plastic bag with his name on it.
The news of Cutler’s injuries flew under the radar as Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Cutler recently suffered three breaks in his nose and a broken orbital bone. While he will be out of action for several months, he won’t need to get surgery.
The injuries happened when he worked his most recent match on the April 12 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation where he lost to Penta El Zero M.
As of late, he has been The Young Bucks’ personal director on Dynamite episodes of AEW Dynamite. You can watch the entire episode by clicking on the player below:
