WATCH: Trailer for “Marcus” movie featuring Paul Wight

A new movie starring AEW’s Paul Wight is set to be released as he will be playing the role of ‘Gus Hoffman’ in the new movie “Marcus.”

The film has been delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It first aired in March 2020 at the Miami Film Festival, but it will finally set to release in theaters and on digital on Friday, July 15, 2022. Here is the plot for it reads as the following (courtesy of IMDb):

“Marcus has a checkered past, but unexpected news brings an opportunity for him to right old wrongs and make amends. Marcus will have to face the consequences and overcome the greatest obstacle of all in order to find happiness: Himself.”

Owen Miller, Katana Malone, and Todd Bruno also star in the film. You can watch the trailer here:

Wight previously appeared in past film roles including ”Captain Insano” in ‘The Waterboy” and “Brick Hughes” in MacGruber. He also had his own Netflix show, “The Big Show Show,” that lasted for one season.
