Shudder has released the trailer for a new movie titled “Dark Match,” which will come out on January 31st.
The movie is written and directed by Lowell Dean and stars Chris Jericho, Ayisha Issa (TRANSPLANT), Steven Ogg (THE WALKING DEAD, WESTWORLD), Sara Canning (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES), Michael Eklund (THE CALL) and Jonathan Cherry (GOON).
The synopsis reads like, “A small-time wrestling company accepts a well-paying gig in a backwoods town only to learn, too late, that the community is run by a mysterious cult leader with devious plans for their match.”
Jericho played ‘Burke’ in Terrifier 2 two years ago and reprised the role for the film’s sequel in 2024. Check out the trailer below:
