Juice Robinson recently offered a small glimpse into his life with his wife, the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion, “Timeless” Toni Storm. In an interview on Up Close with Renee Paquette, Robinson called Storm his “best friend” and explained how her incredible success and dedication to her character is a major source of inspiration for him.
Paquette asked what it’s like being married to one of the most unique and successful characters in modern wrestling, Robinson’s admiration was clear. “Toni’s my best friend,” he began. “And to see what she’s doing with wrestling is… it pumps me up.”
A Source of Inspiration
Robinson explained that watching her journey and seeing her thrive at the top of the women’s division motivates him in his own career. “It pumps me up because I know who she is and what she’s been through to get to where she is. And it’s inspiring,” he said. “In fact, there was times maybe when she was down where I would be like, ‘Hey, hey, hey.’ And now look at her, and she’s going, ‘Hey, hey, hey.'”
He also noted the unique benefits and challenges of being married to someone who so completely understands the wrestling business. “The good and the bad part is being married to somebody in the business, because nobody else is going to understand the business,” Paquette noted. Robinson agreed, adding, “Sometimes you go home and it doesn’t turn off, and you’re talking about things nonstop. But like, sometimes that’s just what we need.”
Timeless Toni 24/7
In a humorous moment, Robinson confirmed that the “Timeless” persona doesn’t always stay at the arena. “You talk about not turning off. I would say I get Timeless Toni Storm 24/7,” he joked. “The only thing that doesn’t come home with her is Luther. Thank God. Thank God for that.”
The couple, who have been married since 2022, are one of the most prominent power couples in All Elite Wrestling. While Robinson is looking to re-establish himself in the men’s division, Toni Storm is in the midst of a dominant, career-defining run as the AEW Women’s World Champion.
