Will Ospreay was given some interview time tonight on AEW Dynamite.
Ospreay talked about the rumors going around about him being afraid of “the grind.” Ospreay said that he wouldn’t address things like this but he’s doing it because of the person who said it (Triple H) and he shouldn’t be talking because he got to where he is by “grinding on the boss’ daughter.”
For context, there were some comments made by Triple H on The Pat McAfee Show last week about certain individuals not wanting to take on the grind in WWE and if that’s the case then he doesn’t want them. The comment was widely believed by many to be about Ospreay.
Ospreay then shifted to talk about Bryan Danielson. At Dynasty on April 21st in St. Louis, it will be Ospreay vs. Danielson. This is the second time tonight that something in real life was inserted into the show. Earlier, The Young Bucks showed footage of CM Punk and Jack Perry’s incident from ALL IN and it was used to promote The Bucks vs. FTR at Dynasty. Click here to see the Punk-Perry footage.
