Will Ospreay: The MJF-Britt Baker Incident Was The Most Completely Blown Out-Of-Proportion Thing I’ve Ever Seen

Will Ospreay is the latest star to chime in on the incident with Britt Baker, MJF, and Alicia Atout last month, which resulted in Baker’s fine and suspension.

A reported incident at the July 17th Dynamite happened, resulting in Baker being fined and suspended. The incident involved MJF, Baker, and Alicia Atout, where Baker allegedly called Atout a ‘Stupid f***ing b***’ because Alicia Atout told MJF that Baker was berating him, talking crap about MJF and Will Ospreay in the women’s locker room.

The argument resulted in MJF punching a wall before his hour-long match. AEW reportedly didn’t suspend MJF because HR saw it as MJF defending Atout and didn’t feel it should be punishable.

MJF has since stated that almost everything reported didn’t happen. Ospreay spoke about the incident while speaking with the New York Post.

He said it is “the most completely blown out of proportion thing I ever seen in my entire life” before stating, “I am just trying to bring people together as a team. That’s all I can say. I’m fully aware people don’t like each other backstage. I know there are people backstage that I don’t like. My whole thing is that going forward we all need to be a team. We all need to look after one another.”

Ospreay challenges MJF for the American title at this Sunday’s All In pay-per-view event.
