AEW has removed one name from its roster page, an indication that the star is no longer with the promotion. In this case, it was expected.
Penta El Zero Miedo is no longer listed on the roster page on AEW’s website. This comes as his contract with the promotion recently expired, and he is officially a free agent.
Penta is free and clear to sign with any promotion, including WWE. His brother and tag team partner, Rey Fenix, will remain in AEW as the promotion opted to add time missed due to injury to his contract.
WWE is heavily interested in bringing in The Lucha Bros. As of this writing, It’s unclear whether Penta will go straight to WWE or wait for his brother before coming in.
Penta first joined AEW in 2019, where he found tag team success with Fenix as former Tag Team Champions. Penta has yet to publicly comment on his AEW departure.
