Several wrestlers apparently gone from GFW Impact Wrestling

It looks like there are some more names gone from Global Force Wrestling. Several readers have sent word that Madison Rayne, Nick “Magnus” Aldis, Brandi Rhodes, and Matt Morgan have been removed from the ImpactWrestling.com roster page.

We reported on Aldis on Thursday. His deal was short-term and he agreed to work on a handshake deal so that he could drop the GFW Global Championship and preserve the lineage of the title. He was offered a longer deal but declined the offer and, as of now, he is based out of Orlando with wife, Mickie James.

Madison Rayne, the wife of Josh Mathews, was rumored to have been gone just after Slammiversary after she changed her Twitter name from @MRayneTNA to @MadisonRayne and because she removed TNA/GFW references from her Twitter bio. In recent weeks, she has taken bookings with Tried-N-True Pro Wrestling and SHIMMER. I believe those would be her first wrestling bookings outside of TNA/GFW since 2015.

Brandi Rhodes is not a surprise considering that her husband is no longer with the promotion. Her husband, Cody, worked for them for a short run but he is more focused on ROH and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

We don’t know what the situation is with Matt Morgan. He might have been on a short-term deal. He returned to the company in April.
