Another departure at Impact Wrestling, top names could be on the way out soon
You can add Rafael Morffi to the list of people that have left Impact Wrestling this year. Morffi announced on Twitter that he is no longer with the company, as of Tuesday, December 12. Morffi was the live events manager and he also did work on the production side of things.
My current business arrangement w/ @IMPACTWRESTLING is over as of today. Will be focusing more time w/ my other clients in the industry.

They’ve been letting go of office staff over the past few weeks and the offices in Nashville were closed on 12/1. The plan is for the company to conduct their business out of the Anthem office in Toronto.
For those of you wondering, Bob Ryder is still with the company but he will be working from home. This week they announced that they will be taping TV in Orlando so, at least for now, they will be alternating between Florida and Canada.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted last week that the Canada tapings save them a lot of money due to tax breaks, as in about half a million dollars. The cost-cutting is necessary but they need some top names if they hope to bring viewers back. EC3 and Lashley are names to look out for in the next few weeks because their big money contracts are going to expire soon.
