Contract set to expire soon for a top Impact Wrestling star

Earlier today, we wrote about former Impact Wrestling star DJZ signing with WWE and it looks like more names might be leaving Impact in the next few months.

PWInsider is reporting that the recent signings that were announced on Impact’s social media platforms were actually existing contracts that had options on them that were picked up at the end of 2018.

The announcements have been part of Impact’s continued efforts to gain some traction and generate positive news because they are still trying to get a TV deal. Their problem is their ratings are at an all-time low and they are averaging around 10,000 viewers each week on Twitch.

PWInsider is also reporting that Eli Drake’s contract is set to expire in May so he is someone to look out for as companies like WWE, AEW, and ROH (among others) may be interested in signing him.

Drake is a solid worker and he’s done a tremendous job on the microphone during his time with Impact.
