TNA posted a video with Josh Mathews and Dixie Carter talking about TNA’s move to Pop TV. Pop TV used to be known as the TV Guide Network.
Regarding the debut broadcast in January, Carter said, “On a live broadcast on January 5th, we’re going to Tuesday nights 9-11 Eastern and Pacific time. We just can’t wait. I knew from the moment I met with these people. It’s amazing the connection between this network and our company. They’re all about the fans and they’re all about everything fandom. Who has better fans than wrestling fans…than Impact Wrestling?”
Pop TV is available in more homes so, in theory, their ratings should go up from what they are getting now on Destination America. Carter said, “85 million homes are going to have the ability to watch Impact Wrestling on Tuesday nights now. I couldn’t be happier, and I think everybody’s going to be thrilled with what happens.”
“I’m ready. It’s our fifteenth year, it’s going to be big, we’re going to make history.”
