Dixie Carter reveals the future of TNA’s pay-per-views, production upgrades coming

Over the last few months there’s been speculation on TNA possibly dropping their pay-per-view events. They were doing 12 shows a year and they cut down to 4 shows last year. Bound For Glory, which they’ve treated as their WrestleMania, was an afterthought this past year and the Lockdown show will be a free show on Destination America. They will be taping the Lockdown show on Friday in New York City.

Dixie Carter was asked on twitter about the status of their pay-per-views. She noted that there would be “A few live PPVs and several One Night Only PPV’s.”

TNA debuts on Destination America on Wednesday night. The company has plans to make more changes to the production of the show. Those changes should be noticeable in the next few weeks.
