Donald Trump continues to make headlines for his past comments about women and on Monday night’s The Daily Show, they mentioned that Donald Trump fired a female contestant on “The Celebrity Apprentice” because of “locker room talk.” Trump is under fire after audio from a 2005 conversation leaked last Friday of him making vulgar comments about women. He has since said that it was just “locker room talk” but the story continues to dominate the news headlines and there has been some serious backlash from people in the Republican party.
Trump once chastised Maria Kanellis for using the word “crap” on the show. Kanellis was a contestant during the 2010 season. While on the show, Kanellis said the following about fellow castmate Curtis Stone: “I said you were so arrogant was because you came in our dressing room and you took a crap and left the stench in the room. That is the whole purpose of why I was upset.”
On the show, Trump said that her comments were a little below the belt and then fired her over the comments. Kanellis tried to defend herself but he called her comments “gross” and “disgusting.” Trump added, “This is my boardroom. It’s not a locker room. You’re fired.”
It’s ironic considering that Trump’s 2005 comments were far worse as he boasted about how being a celebrity allows him to do whatever he wants with women. He said, “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ‘em by the p—y”
