There was a fight backstage at recent Impact Wrestling tapings

There was a recent physical altercation between two Impact Wrestling stars.

On Friday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that there was a fight between Michael Elgin and Sami Callihan at a recent set of TV tapings. Per the report, the two were setting up a match that also involved Ken Shamrock.

The issues started when they disagreed on how the match should start. It escalated to the point where the two ended up fighting and Impact executive Scott D’Amore had to step in.

As noted, Impact Wrestling announced that Elgin will no longer appear on their programming. To read their statement, click here.

The reason for that is due to the allegations made against him from independent wrestler Kaitlin Diemond, who alleges Elgin sent her unsolicited explicit photos of himself.

Elgin was scheduled to be part of the Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 18, 2020, but due to the decision made by Impact, clearly, he will no longer be used at their show. As a result, Impact will have to make changes to their plans.
