Former WWE star returns to the ring for the first time in years at Impact Wrestling TV tapings

Saturday’s Impact Wrestling TV taping from Atlanta, Georgia, featured the fallout episode from Friday’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view and included a notable name making her in-ring return to the company.

Lisa Marie Varon, also known as Victoria in WWE and Tara from her run with TNA/Impact Wrestling, was back in action for the promotion at the things as she teamed with Giselle Shaw in a losing effort against Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie & Jessicka). This marked her first match since working the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2021.

After leaving WWE in 2009, Varon debuted in TNA later that year. While working for the promotion, she became a five-time TNA Knockouts Champion and one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Brooke Tessmacher, collectively known as TnT. She wrapped up with TNA in 2013.

Tara appeared at Hard To Kill to give advice to Mickie James ahead of her Knockouts Title match that headlined the show. Aside from the Rumble appearance, this would be her first TV match in years.
