Impact Wrestling has picked up some buzz that all started a few months ago heading into its Slammiversary pay-per-view event.
Around this time, Impact has brought in new faces while familiar faces have returned.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports the promotion has offered their Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo a full-time contract with the company. As of this writing, there’s no word on whether or not pen has been put to paper. Per the report, it’s at minimum a two-year deal with financial increases as the contract goes on.
Up to this point, she had been working on a per date contract. In the report, it was noted that there had been some rumors about Purrazzo leaving the company in October, which led to an offer finally being made.
It was also mentioned that Alex Shelley is also working without a full-time contract even though he’s Tag Team Champions with Chris Sabin.
Purrazzo made her return to Impact earlier this after she departed from WWE. She has stated that she had an interest in working for AEW when she left WWE.
