Killer Kelly worked the Impact Wrestling TV tapings last November in Nashville, Tennessee and it appears she made a good impression with officials.
Fightful Select reports “there was immediate interest in signing Kelly to a contract, but some things had to be worked out before she could actually make her way back.”
After the tapings, she returned home overseas. This was after she was required to go through extended quarantine periods just to make it to the United States. The promotion plans to bring her back to work again immediately.
It was pointed out how Portugal’s embassy had been closed for interviews and she was stuck overseas for almost half the year already after planning to be back in the states in January.
She was under contract with WWE NXT/NXT UK from 2018-2020. She made her WWE debut on the first night of the 2018 United Kingdom Championship tournament. She later worked the 2018 Mae Young Classic. She also lost to Dakota Kai on the October 24th edition of NXT UK before departing from WWE in January 2020.
