Jake Something has wrapped up his time with Impact Wrestling. Something worked his last match with the promotion when he lost to X-Division Champion Trey Miguel at Impact’s Sacrifice special on Saturday night from Louisville, Kentucky.
Fightful Select reports that he is now a free agent as Jake’s deal was up at the end of February, but there was one outstanding date on his deal. Sacrifice was that date. As of now, a new deal between the two sides has yet to be reached and he isn’t scheduled to be at the Sunday TV tapings.
It’s possible that he makes a return down the line as he ended his run on good terms and it was said he would “likely be welcomed back.” The report cited sources who reiterated this “doesn’t necessarily spell the end of the two working together” should they be able to reach an agreement in the future.
Something broke into the business in 2014 where he worked for several promotions such as Glory, Border City Wrestling, and AAW.
Jake made his promotional debut in 2018 at Impact One Night Only: March Breakdown. He was later renamed Jake Deaner, one-half of the newly-formed team The Deaners, with Cody Deaner. After they split up, Jake went on a singles run.
