Impact Wrestling will present one of their biggest pay-per-view events of the year, Slammiversary, on July 17 and they are looking to generate some buzz by teasing the debut/return of some released WWE stars. Impact did something similar last year at Slammiversary and a few ex-WWE stars appeared on the show.
In the latest Slammiversary commercial, they are teasing Daniel Bryan in addition to the other names that were featured in the first ad that premiered a few weeks ago.
As seen below, Bryan’s face is not featured but you can briefly see “YES!” spelled out. The video also hints at The IIconics and The Forgotten Sons possibly appearing. Other names teased include Samoa Joe, Chelsea Green, and Mickie James.
Bryan, real name Bryan Danielson, is a free agent after his contract expired a few weeks ago. WWE has been trying to get him to sign a new deal. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess on what he will do next. It’s also worth noting that the teases below don’t necessarily that any or all of those names will appear at Slammiversary.
All the more interesting ones are the Forgotten Sons, Daniel Bryan, IIconics teases..but the flag goes from an Aussie flag to Mexican.. Back to Aussie.. But there's a very brief flicker of a Canadian flag. Chelsea is the only Canadian I can think of right now? pic.twitter.com/YSh2qMzRI4
