Ryan, real name Joseph Meehan, filed the lawsuit against parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment last month for what he says is a breach of contract because he was fired because of the #SpeakingOut allegations that allege sexual abuse and assault.
Although his contract was supposed to run through August 2021, he was released by Impact on June 22nd, 2020. Ryan is claiming that his contract stated that he needed to be informed of any issues in writing along with a “5 day cure period.” He says the contract stated that if nothing could be worked out in those five days, then he and Impact would have 30 days to resolve the issues and then, at that point, the decision could have been made to terminate the deal another 30 days after if the issues were not resolved.
The lawsuit states that the terms of the contract were not followed and he is seeking $10 million along with legal fees and other “relief” that the court may find in his favor.
As previously noted, Ryan has filed several multi-million dollar lawsuits against several of his accusers. This brings the total number of lawsuits so far to at least six.
