Joey Ryan has been busy defending himself in the wake of allegations.
Last month, he filed a defamation lawsuit against #SpeakingOut accusers and then a lawsuit against Impact Wrestling over breach of contract where he is seeking $10 million dollars.
In June, Ryan had his contract with Impact Wrestling terminated due to the accusations after sexual assault allegations were made against him.
The latest defamation lawsuit filed by Ryan notes that he is seeking upwards of $15 million. According to court documents obtained by Heel By Nature, the lawsuit that was filed at the California Central District Court against a man in Pennsylvania for various things.
This includes several claims including emotional distress, libel, false light, and intentional interference with prospective economic advance.
The lawsuit is similar to the other suits he recently filed as it outlines a number of statements this person made against him on social media.
Ryan believes that a series of Twitter posts directed at him back in June, which was during the beginning of the #SpeakingOut movement, falsely tied him to the movement.
There is a series of tweets about Ryan’s YouTube channel, which features some of his matches from Bar Wrestling events. Ryan thinks these tweets are a “call to action” as a way to prevent him from making money from Youtube.
The tweets also called for several wrestling promotions to no longer book Ryan.
