Joey Ryan has decided to file a lawsuit against those who made serious allegations against him during the #SpeakingOut movement.
The multi-million dollar lawsuit was filed on September 24th in the United States District and Central Court. Ryan is claiming that the women made false allegations against him and it resulted in damages to his reputation and his livelihood.
The sexual assault allegations were made earlier this year. In June, Ryan had his contract with Impact Wrestling terminated due to the accusations.
Ryan posted a video that has since been deleted on his YouTube channel, which was about one-hour where he addressed the allegations.
Heel By Nature was able to obtain the court documents, which noted that Ryan claims to have lost upwards of $20,000 in monthly income from his various revenue sources because of the allegations that went public. This includes live event bookings, merchandise, Twitch, Cameo, and Patreon.
The former Impact star is looking for a resolution to the matter. This includes payment for economic and economic damages in addition to retract and delete any defamatory statements levied against him.
