Warrior Wrestling out of Chicago announced last month that Kylie Rae would defend her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title against ThunderRosa on Saturday, June 5 at the first event in The Warrior Wrestling Stadium Series.

However, the promotion has now confirmed the match has been rescheduled for their third Stadium Series event of 2021 on August 21. It was reported earlier this month by Fightful Select that the reason for the match being postponed was due to Rosa’s obligations to the NWA. Instead of getting a replacement for Rosa, Warrior Wrestling just decided to postpone it until they could book the bout.

Back on September 12th, Rae won the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title from Tessa Blanchard but hasn’t defended the title since September 26th when she beat Madison Rayne.

Last November, Rae announced she was going on hiatus from the pro wrestling business and social media. Thus, this will be her return match and first bout since October.

Rae was supposed to challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Impact Knockouts Championship at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view event, but ended up missing it and was replaced by Su Yung. As a result, she departed from Impact.
