There had been some speculation about Moose’s contract status with Impact Wrestling coming out of his most recent match with the promotion.
Last month, it was reported that he had signed a new contract with the promotion. However, he later denied doing so. At the time, Moose reacted to the report on Twitter by writing, “Not True,” then following up with another tweet that stated, “Plz get your news from me and me only.”
His deal was slated to expire this month. PWinsider.com reported today that the word going around Impact now is that Moose has come to terms on a new contract. It should be noted that Impact nor Moose has yet to confirm the news publicly.
Impact World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega defended the title against Moose at the Against All Odds special on Saturday night.
Omega went over in the bout that was filmed on June 4th from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
