Matt Hardy says TNA allows wrestlers to be independent contractors, other notes

Matt Hardy wrote on twitter this morning that TNA is allowing wrestlers to be independent contractors which allows wrestlers to make more money on the independent scene if they wish to do so.

Hardy is right but there’s a reason for that. TNA is not running house shows and there doesn’t seem to be any plans to run house shows anytime soon so the company is allowing talents to book dates elsewhere, except for WWE of course. TNA Knockout Havok worked on SHINE’s recent iPPV and remains with TNA at the same time.

Former TNA stars and current ROH stars The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) will be on AMC’s “Comic Book Men” on March 1st. They will also be wrestling on ROH’s 13th Anniversary show in Las Vegas on that night. The description of the show is as follows:

“Kevin’s assistant Ashley comes to the Stash and learns about comic-book retail. Meanwhile, a pair of pro wrestlers want to sell their comic.”
