Moose denies signing a new deal with Impact Wrestling

Moose took to Twitter to address his status with Impact Wrestling.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Moose was close to signing a new Impact contract, or has already signed a new agreement. Meltzer later reported that Moose had re-signed with the company.

Moose reacted to the report on Twitter by writing, “Not True,” then following up with another tweet that stated, “Plz get your news from me and me only.”

His deal was slated to expire in June. It should be noted that Moose has recently sent out some interesting messages on social media by teasing that he could be headed to NXT. He also teased getting involved in the triple threat match at AEW Double or Nothing featuring PAC, Orange Cassidy, and Kenny Omega, who currently holds the AEW World Title. Based on those tweets, he could just be working the fans regarding his contract status.

Moose will challenge Omega for the Impact World Title at Impact’s Against All Odds pay-per-view on June 12th.
