More on Dixie Carter’s embarrassing email to the head of Discovery

Here is a follow up to last week’s story about the management change at Destination America. As noted, Marc Etkind is moving to a new department at Discovery and is no longer the General Manager at Destination America. Etkind was the person who made the call to drop TNA. The call came after the alleged Dixie Carter email that was accidentally sent to the head of Discovery Network where she allegedly said that Etkind was an idiot for not releasing the +3 DVR numbers in a press release earlier this year.

There is no indication that anything has changed with TNA’s future on Destination America but the word is that all programming decisions are now being evaluated. So, this could be a small glimmer of hope for TNA’s future on Destination America. Those in TNA are still under the impression that they are done with DA in January and people in ROH are saying that they are waiting on word of what their future is on DA.

Several days ago, Bob Ryder ripped Destination America’s “Exorcism Live” special. I understand someone else ripping on their show but when you are working for Destination America then it’s probably not wise to publicly rip them on twitter.
