There had been speculation about Impact Wrestling bringing in some new talent at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view event last month. The promotion tried to bring in at least three former WWE stars including ex-NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed.
At the time, it was reported that Reed was booked for the show at one point, but later unbooked due to unknown reasons.
Reed (now known as Jonah Rock, or simply JONAH) made an appearance on Wrestling Inc Daily and was asked about his status as a free agent. This is where he explained that he’s dealing with work Visa issues.
He called it a “complete nightmare,” but is staying positive as he said everything is set in stone thanks to a great set of lawyers helping him out with the process. He said he thinks in November, fans will see him “around some places.”
Reed was asked about the reports of him originally set to be at Bound For Glory. This is where he implied that the work Visa was the reason he missed the show.
“At the moment, it’s everything to do with immigration, so I’m not able, legally, to do anything wrestling-wise until all my immigration is sorted, but it should be sorted very soon, and I’m very happy about that.”
