Taz not happy about Samoa Joe's departure, TNA issues an official statement

Taz offered comments on Samoa Joe's TNA departure. He said the following:

TNA issued a statement on his website nothing that his contract expired. The company line is that they mutually parted ways. I don't know the full story but I would bet that Joe would at least consider staying if TNA gave him an increase on his last deal with the company. The company did offer Alberto El Patron a huge sum of money to work limited dates for one year so I don't see why TNA could not offer Joe something that would be hard for him to pass up. Joe was seen as a locker room leader and someone who would speak up when he felt that something didn't make sense.

Here is TNA's statement:

Upon expiration of Samoa Joe's contract, TNA and Joe have mutually agreed to part ways. We would like to thank Samoa Joe for 9 great years. Joe will always be a valued member of our family.

I'm sure this is obvious to anyone but there are a lot of people in the company bummed out by Joe no longer being with the company. Hopefully WWE will give him a chance by signing him to a deal soon.
