Taz and PWTorch.com founder/editor Wade Keller got into a cordial (at first) twitter exchange over the direction of Thursday night’s Impact. Keller noted that the first scene of the show was too much like a nostalgia ECW show and would have been better served if they did what Paul Heyman did in 1995 and done something new instead of recycling old ideas. I enjoyed the show personally but I do agree with Wade’s points here. The conversation ended when Keller brought up the TNA pay and noted that everyone should be getting pay increases (if they had a hot product) but instead it seems that everyone has taken pay cuts because of the direction of the product. Taz took offense to that.
LJ sent over screenshots from the back and forth exchange.
