TNA production issues, photo of bald Jeremy Borash, more backstage news

There were several production issues at last night’s Impact Wrestling broadcast. The company, which is already on a reduced staff, was not using their equipment. They used the Manhattan Center equipment instead. One of the production issues caused them to have to tell Jeremy Borash to stall in the ring with the Impact theme playing over and over. Luckily for them since the show was on delay by a couple of hours they were able to figure out some of the issues.

There were also key shots missed during the show. That would fall on the the director. It was not David Sahadi. Dixie Carter noted earlier this week that some of the new production elements that they have planned with be slowly rolled out in the coming weeks. Dixie has also said in interviews this week that there will be more reality elements added to the show. They showed a little bit of that with the security cam of one of the locker rooms and a shot of the production crew.

Destination America has been plugging the Friday move on all of their programming. I personally saw at least four commercials several hours before the show began.

The opening with the wrestlers brawling outside of the Manhattan Center was filmed on Tuesday. There was no big screen so the fans had no idea why everyone was brawling to start the show.

As we first noted last night, Tommy Dreamer was backstage. He still works for them in a backstage capacity. There was one report from a fan saying that Rob Van Dam, Gene Snitsky, Chris Hero, and Sabu were visiting.

Jeremy Borash is now completely bald. He shaved his head after the segment last night.
