There’s not much news coming out of TNA since they announced that Bound For Glory would be taking place on Sunday night. The questions now are who funded the pay-per-view and the upcoming tapings and is this just a band-aid fix or has Dixie Carter made a deal to sell the company?
Dave Meltzer reports that there will be an internal meeting on Sunday to address the future of the company. Presumably, several questions will be answered and hopefully, the concerns of the wrestlers and backstage crew will be addressed.
As noted earlier, the crew is already in Orlando and Dixie Carter plans to tape Impact Wrestling shows from Monday-Saturday so that should get them taken care of for the rest of the year. Other than being quoted by the recent New York Post article, there has been no word from Billy Corgan in the past couple of days on social media or in the media. The recent report in the Post article claimed that the company received funding from a third party (not Corgan and not WWE) so it will be interesting to see if we hear about this third party on Sunday night.
