Tommy Dreamer is back working for Impact Wrestling after his controversial Dark Side of the Ring comments

Tommy Dreamer was in the headlines earlier this year because of his comments on the Dark Side of the Ring episode that covered the 2002 Plane Ride From Hell.

Some people felt that Dreamer defended Ric Flair’s behavior towards a flight attendant (Heidi Doyle) on the trip. Flair was accused of taking his clothes off and forcing himself on a flight attendant. Shortly after that episode had aired, Dreamer was indefinitely suspended by Impact Wrestling. The former ECW star later issued an apology.

Fightful Select reported today that Dreamer was back working as an agent and producer at the recent Impact Wrestling TV tapings. Dreamer wasn’t used on the shows that were taped, which is about a month’s worth of footage.

The report added that while there was initially heat on Dreamer for the comments, those in the company believe the “punishment fit the offense.”
