Update on Jeff Hardy’s dirt bike accident and how it will affect TNA’s plans

As noted, Jeff Hardy suffered a broken tibia in his leg after crashing his dirt bike on April 28th at his home in Cameron, NC. Hardy went under surgery the next day to repair the broken leg the next.

Matt Hardy was the person filming Jeff when the accident took place and then later released it online via Dixie Carter. At this time, the Hardy’s are the TNA Tag Team Champions and were reportedly planned on setting up a feud with the Wolves at the next set of TNA TV tapings. This feud would have climax in a match at Slammiversary on June 28th in Orlando, FL.

Currently, there is no word on how long Jeff Hardy will be out of action due to the injury.

Also, with how TNA handled the Wolves incident when Eddie Edwards injured his leg and made them vacate the Tag Team Titles, there is now speculation on how TNA will handle this situation as far as if they will strip the Hardys of the Tag Team Titles.
