Baron Corbin is being advertised for next week’s MLW Fusion, defending the MLW World Tag Team Championship in a match that was taped three months ago and which he lost.
Corbin, who works for MLW as Bishop Dyer, teams with Donovan Dijak and Josh Bishop as The Skyscrapers against The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, in a Tennessee Tornado match. The promotional graphic shows him with a photoshopped WWE United States Championship on his shoulder.

He won that title six days ago, beating Trick Williams on night two of SummerSlam.
He did not have it when the match happened. The bout was taped on May 9 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and The Good Brothers won the tag team titles in it. MLW tapes Fusion well in advance and the result has been on the record since the spring.
Corbin has been working both companies without conflict, having returned to WWE earlier this year after a spell away.
He spoke to Busted Open recently about how that spell shaped him, saying the time outside the company forced a level of work he had not been putting in with it, and that he came back intending to make a statement.
