Don’t hold your breathe on Ring Of Honor (ROH) star Adam “Hangman” Page coming to WWE anytime soon. The former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champ was recently interviewed by ESPN to talk about several professional wrestling topics. During the interview Page was asked about the possibility of one day signing with WWE.
Page admitted that a WWE move is no longer something that’s on his immediate radar and the move actually doesn’t really interest him anymore:
“Going to WWE doesn’t feel important to me anymore. It’s not something I’m interested in. I really feel like in the past few years my goals have shifted from, ‘I want to accomplish X, Y, Z,’ to I want to make a good living for my family.
“I want to have fun and I want to bring something new and fresh to fan’s eyes and have it be something they enjoy, no matter where it is, no matter what capacity. To have an outlet for creativity. That’s been my goal.”
“Hangman” has also had the priveledge of working with one of the best tag teams in professional wrestling outside of WWE today – The Young Bucks. Page called them “mad men” before putting them over and praising their work ethics:
“They’re mad men. They’re geniuses. They are passionate about what they do. They’re always invested, no matter what we’re doing.”
